Silkey Gardens LLC 2024

Thank you for visiting our Apple Page!

Much of what we do here at Silkey Gardens is inspired by what we estimate to be a 100 year old apple tree. As far as we can tell, this is a unique variety of apple which we have named Leesha. In 2005, we grafted several trees from both our Leesha and another old tree we hope to identify when it starts to produce. We also planted three established varieties of apples: Wealthy, Honey Crisp and Zestar. The Wealthy, Leesha and Zestar start to ripen in mid-to late August and are followed by the Honeycrisp in mid September.
